About the Team

The Strategy and Special Projects team at Bounce works on critical business initiatives including Strategic

Planning, New Business Development, Business & Process Transformation, M&A, Structured Innovation,

and Fundraising/Investor Relations.

The team is lean to maintain a razor-sharp focus. We currently have 2 members in strategy and 6 members

in special projects.

Position Summary – Strategy Manager/Sr. Associate

We are looking to bring on board strategy team members, who will work closely with other members of

company’s senior executive team in supporting investor relations and fundraising, strategic planning,

driving key projects, and leadership communication. In addition to supporting these projects in the

planning stage, the individual would also be expected to pursue these projects through to

implementation.

This position is a critical one in context of the overall business transformation of the organization led by

the CEO and reports to the Head of Strategy & Special Projects. The main clients for the strategy team

are the CEO, leadership team within Bounce and the Board of Directors. The role will be based in

Bengaluru.

Key Relationships

Reports to: Head of Strategy and Special Projects

Other key relationships: Founders (CEO, CTO, and COO) and Board of Directors

Business Unit Heads and Function Heads

Other key operating middle level management

Major Responsibilities:

 Strategic Planning: Establishing the objectives and key results (OKR) for the entire organization

to drive the growth blueprint for Bounce, as well as periodic review and revisions

 Program and project management: Identifying strategic opportunities, designing project

proposals, getting leadership buy-in, and pursuing to implementation

 Leadership Communication: Supporting leadership and CEO communication both externally

(board updates) and internally (Townhalls)

 Supporting all aspects of corporate M&A including but not limited to strategy development,

target identification, deal sourcing, and deal execution

 Investor relations and fundraising support: Supporting all aspects of investor communication

and supporting the fundraising initiatives of the company

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION: KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

 2 - 5 years’ experience in analytical problem solving, project/change management in consumer

internet or consulting

 Track record of achievement in career positions with experience in working with Sr. Leadership

 A good balance of structured thinking and creativity

 Sincere / Driven / Strong interpersonal and communication Skills

 Strong strategic thinking mind-set and focus on driving impact

 Strong ability to structure ambiguous business situations into analytically tractable frameworks

 Analytical horsepower to construct, use and communicate numbers-driven arguments and use

Position Summary – Special Projects Manager

We are looking to bring on board Special Projects team members, who will work closely with the Strategy

Team and other members of company’s senior executive team in business and process transformation

and implement strategic initiatives. This role aims to take the most challenging problems faced by the

business today and build a process-oriented solution through experimentation. It requires a strong

balance of analytical/process-oriented thinking and execution.

This position is a critical one in enabling the growth and scale of the organization and reports to the

Head of Strategy & Special Projects. The role will be based in Bengaluru.

Other key relationships: Founders (CEO, CTO, and COO)

Business Unit Heads and Function Heads

Other key operating middle level management

Major Responsibilities:

 Leading pods within the organization aimed at solving the biggest challenges in supply chain,

hardware and software, and customer experience. The pods are formed with formal

representation from product, ops, tech, and marketing as needed for the problem statement

 Independently taking charge of P0 issues of the company and developing a process by working

with teams on-ground – Build, operate, and transfer SOP to the respective teams

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION: KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

 4 – 8 years’ experience in analytical problem solving, project/change management in consumer

internet or consulting with experience in operational execution

 Track record of achievement in career positions with experience in working on cross-functional

initiatives

 A good balance of process-oriented thinking and execution

 Sincere / Driven / Strong interpersonal and communication Skills and a strong bias for execution
