About the Team

The Strategy and Special Projects team at Bounce works on critical business initiatives including Fundraising/Investor Relations, Strategic Planning, New Business Development, Business & Process Transformation, M&A and Structured Innovation


Position Summary – Strategy Associate

We are looking to bring on board strategy team members, who will work closely with other members of company’s senior executive team in supporting leadership communication (both external and internal) and investor relations&fundraising initiatives. The individual will take responsibility for generating hypothesis, completing given analyses, conducting industry research, and communicating the end-product/documents (such as presentations, reports, frameworks, excel spreadsheets, etc.)  to the team in clear and synthesized manner.

This position is a critical one in context of the overall business transformation and the main clients for the strategy team are the CEO, leadership team within Bounce and the Board of Directors. The role will be based in Bengaluru.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for assigned work-streams and generate hypotheses. Effectively undertake the work plan and execute it within the planned/communicated timelines
  • Support all aspects of investor communication requirements of the company
  • Understand leadership/investor needs and situations and adapt to case expectations. Show ability to resolve discrete issues and/or drive consensus
  • Communicate data, knowledge and insights to the entire team. Generate realistic approach for solving the leadership/investor asks or problems, and recommend actionable solutions
  • Effectively structure/document communications or insights for the assigned work-streams. Deliver clear and professional presentations/documentations to the team/managers
  • Support leadership and CEO communication both externally (board updates) and internally (Townhalls)


The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 1-3 Years of Industry experience. (Experience  with top consulting firms such as McKinsey Knowledge Center, Bain Capability Center, etc. will be preferable, others will do with relevant experience)
  • Broad understanding of business and general trends, with comfort in business concepts, is preferred
  • Track record of achievement in career positions with experience in working with Sr. Leadership
  • A good balance of structured thinking and creativity
  • Sincere / Driven / Strong interpersonal and communication Skills
