GM / Senior Manager Operations for R&M

Bengaluru, Karnataka   |   Full time

Responsibilities:

This is a central role and will cover pan India scope. There will be multiple level of direct and indirect reporting.

  1. Expansion & Infra
    1. Real estate BD - work with agencies to ensure a healthy pipeline of properties, work out commercials for properties
    2. Expansion project management - project manage new facility opening end to end and handhold for the first few months
    3. General admin & IT  - responsible for all admin, IT requirements
    4. Legal & Compliance - take care of all necessary compliance and legal aspects working along with the central legal teams
  2. Process Excellence
    1. Process Design, SOPs - Sharpen operations SOPs, design thinking to improve efficiency, define metrics to track efficiency improvements
    2. Inventory Design, SOPs - Sharpen SOPs, define TATs and necessary metrics to measure efficiency of inventory, ensure that inventory control happens properly - handshake with procurement and R&M centers are smoothened, work on 3PL solutions and SOPs
    3. Process Control, Audits - Run process audits, inventory audits across R&M centers and 3rd party facilities
    4. Commercial Control, Audits - Run commercial audits, inventory audits across R&M centers and 3rd party facilities
  3. MIS and Business Analytics
    1. Service & Telematics - efficiency, cost, quality
    2. Payroll and Incentive
    3. Inventory - cost, efficiency
  4. Resource planning & budgeting
    1. Planning and budgeting for bike spare parts for service
    2. Planning and budgeting for IOT (and peripherals) replacement components
    3. Planning and budgeting for manpower - different teams
  5. People Management
    1. Define Key deliverables and metrics for different teams
    2. Optimize team structures
    3. Technical and non-technical training and ensure SOP adherence
    4. Control attrition
    5. Support HRBP through the full recruitment cycle - from recruitment to retention
  6. Field Technical Support
    1. Work with service and telematics heads to manage the operations in field technical support, and control the inflow at hubs
    2. Work with diagnosis call center to control the inflow at hubs

 Preferred Candidate profile

  1. MBA from any colleges
  2. Engineering from any colleges with good academic background
  3. Operations experience: handling large teams for more than 2 years, managing tiered teams and multiple functions would be preferred but not mandatory.
  4. 5+ years of experience
  5. Needs to be entrepreneurial with a strong self drive
