PPC Manager

GM – Rework (Hardware) - plant and hubs would have the Independent charge of a large service

operations - Managing hardware service / repair activities based at defined rework facilities (at plant

and field levels).

Key responsibilities

 Planning and developing short and long-term goals and objectives weekly, and submitting timely

projections to senior management

 Develop and manage daily, weekly and monthly master service schedule and operations


 Responsible for developing the appropriate organisational structure, resource plans and culture

to support the business objectives

 Ensure staffing / recruitment, induction, training and development of employees

 Report on service activities on a regular basis to the Senior Management team, ensuring

accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key Performance Indicators

 Effectively communicating with the procurement / stores on regular basis to review

departmental forecasts and ensure consistency with annual projections

 Ensure labor targets & achievement overall taking care of service operation system

 Monitor, analyze, report and communicate KPIs

 Participation with internal departments and teams on projects. Monitoring other key customer

based projects progress and ensuring timely delivery of results

 Manpower Management / Team Handling

 Focusing on customer complaints that department managers are unable to rectify and taking the

necessary steps to resolve these complaints

 Define a deployment plan for the Excellence System and implement it

Experience required

 BE / B.Tech with 8-10 years of after sales / service management experience across automotive /

consumer electronics sector

 Should have independently managed after sales / service operations (100-300 people strong) for

a period of 3-4 years
